The Tracesure Lamb Metal Balling Gun is a strong durable and reliable balling gun for use with Tracesure and Allsure sheep and lamb boluses, and Coprac lamb capsules. The Tracesure Lamb Metal Balling Gun is specially designed so that boluses are easily administered without any damage or discomfort to your animal. The gun is shorter and narrower than many other guns making it particularly useful for administering boluses to lambs.

Guide for use
- Always use a full handling pen or race. Always pre load the applicator before restraining the animal.
- Before restraining the animal ensure that you have the correct number of boluses and/or capsules and the correct applicator.
- Load the copper capsule first (if there is one), followed by the bolus.
- Make sure that the curved end of the bolus enters the throat first.
- During bolusing keep the animal's head up and forward and the neck straight.
- If necessary, use your knees to restrain or control the animal.
- Gentle insert the applicator at the side of the mouth. If the animal struggles just wait, do not force the applicator.
- Carefully move the applicator to the midline of the mouth and allow the applicator to pass over the bridge of the tongue. With the handle of the applicator facing downwards depress the trigger to release the bolus and copper capsule (if there is one) into the animal.
- Slowly and carefully remove the applicator. Observe for a few seconds to ensure the bolus and copper capsule (if there is one) have been swallowed. they will only be swallowed if the animals head is facing upwards.
