The Crimps exceed the breaking strain of the wire, this ensures the point where the wire is joined is not a weak point in the fence. The Strainrite 2.5mm Crimps use a water resistant grit adhesive which allows the crimps to be applied in all weather conditions. The crimps are suitable for wire between 1.6mm and 2.5mm in thickness.
