The Liveryman Mars Coat King Comb (Fine) is a new style of stripping knife produced from the high quality steel for which the area of Solingen is famous. The Liveryman Mars Coat King Comb is fitted with an ergonomically polished hard wood handle for ease of use. Many Cattle and horse showers have seen the benefits of using the Coat King, witnessing huge improvements to horses' tails in particular.
The unique design of these combs makes it possible to strip large areas of coat quickly and easily, particularly those animals with thick undercoats. The Coat King is a great tool for both untangling and dematting, your animal's coat leaving a smooth coat.
The stainless steel blade tips "skid" on the body surface, gliding through the animals coat as you "comb", ensuring that the it any loose hair is pulled away without causing any pain or stress to the animal. In fact the animal may even enjoy the experience as a scratch relieving itch. For best results the comb should be pulled with very light hand pressure in the direction of the hair growth.
TIP: Only use once a week or every other week as excessive combing can result in bald patches.
