The KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater is a German engineered powerful, sturdy and easily cleaned milk heater . The KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater features an adjustable thermostat, which will maintain a constant temperature while heating the milk and automatically cut off when the milk has reached the desired temperature, this ensures the heater will never burn the milk. The KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater is designed for heating up milk and food prepared with water. For other purposes, especially for avoiding freezing of water, for instance in feeding troughs, the milk heater must not be used.
Immerse the milk heating element into the liquid. Pay attention to the minimum depth that is marked by the little grove on the tube just above the heating element. The maximum depth is marked further up the tube and must not be exceeded. In any case the heating element must always be immersed in its entirety and the handle must never get in contact with the liquid. The container must be of heat-resistant material. Do not use plastic containers!
Plug the mains plug into the outlet that has been installed by a qualified electrician. It has to be equipped with a differential-current switch (FI) with a response current of 30mA. After having plugged in the milk heater the liquid must not be touched anymore. 7 3.2.3. Set the desired temperature with the thermostat. ( 0 ) corresponds to the minimum temperature ( ) corresponds to a temperature of approximately 40°C and ( ) to a temperature of about 80°C. While heating up the red control lamp lights up. Only use your milk heater under permanent supervision. Pay attention that the level of liquid does not drop below the minimum depth when heating up over a longer period of time. Under no circumstances cover the milk heater nor the container. When the red control lamp goes out the desired temperature has been reached. Turn the thermostat to ‘minimum temperature’ and pull the plug out of the socket. Leave the milk heater for about another minute in the liquid before you remove it. The heating element remains hot even after the plug has been pulled out and should therefore not be touched and must not be placed on surfaces that burn easily (e.g. straw)! The calf‘s milk heater must be cleaned after every use. The heater can be cleaned using a soft sponge cloth (do not use scrubbing brushes, wire brushes, wire wool or other abrasive cleaning tools) and lukewarm, soapy water. The calf‘s milk heater should be placed in cold or warm water immediately after use. This makes the calf‘s milk heater easier to clean and protects the PTFE coating. To clean the handle and the stand pipe, use a soft, damp cloth that must be completely free of solvents (acetone, petrol, alcohol or similar).
The milk heater uses a very powerful 2300w heater and is ideal for heating small to medium amounts of milk or milk replacer. The round designed heating element and stand pipe are manufactured from high quality stainless steel with a PTFE coating, this makes the heater easy to clean and highly hygienic. The KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater features a minimal heat up time and is powered from a three pin plug. The milk heater has a safety rating of IPx7. The Thermostat controls the temperature and is controlled by a easy to use labeled dial.
