Heiniger Thoroughbred Blade Set 31/23 is a standard two blade set fine clipping horses. The bottom blade comes with 31 teeth and the bottom blade has 15. Heiniger Thoroughbred Blade Set 31/23 is designed to provide a perfect finish leaving the coat at a lenght of 2-4mm. This is ideal for dagging dirty coats or leaving your animals ready for showing.

• For clipping of horses and cattle
• After clipping coat length will be between 2 - 4 mm

Clipper blades have two parts.
The larger bottom blade is called the comb.
The comb feeds the hair into the top, or cutting blade.
The comb blade will have more teeth that the top blade. The comb gathers the hair together and holds it while the top blade moves and slices the hair off.

The cutting blade is moved back and forth very quickly by the clipper motor to cut the hair.
The cutting blade may have less teeth than the comb blade.
