Features of Hayes Wire Strainer

End Strain Place a wire strop (A), or anchor chain (B), around strainer post. Attach chain to grab, remove slack in wire and place in grip. |
Using a Wire Strop 1: Attach grip (1) of strainer to strop by opening grip and inserting strop. |

Using a Wire Strop 2: Insert the chain into the strainer grab (2). Run the chain of the H300 through your hand to remove all twists from the chain. |

Using a Wire Strop 3: Take up the slack in the wire and attach remaining grip (3). |

Using a Wire Strop 4: Continue to remove any slack by operating the handle (4) in a levering action until the desired tension is reached. Tie off wire. |

End Strain Tie off wire strainer post using wire strops. |

For a Centre Strain (gut strain) attach each grip towards the ends of the wires leaving sufficient wire to join either over, or in front of the strainer. |
