The Force 8 Twin Respirator ABEK1P3 Filters protects against organic vapours, inorganic vapours, acidic vapours, chlorine, glyphosate (weed killer), nuisance odours, solvents, paints, dust, mists, fibre glass and welding.
It is a safety requirement to use a safety mask when using pesticides or any chemicals as the fumes can be extremely harmful to your lungs and general health. Pesticides can be rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream via the lungs causing such problems as asthma or in severe cases pesticide poisoning. If inhaled the fumes can also cause serious damage to the nose, throat and lung tissue. It is advised that you take all possible safety measures when dealing with any chemicals as any exposure can lead to serious health problems that you may not notice immediately and only after a period of time may the symptoms appear.
