Diarradral is a dissolving rehydration tablet that offers an oral treatment for calves, lambs, kid goats, and piglets that are affected or recovering from diarrhoea. It is a fizzy tablet that supplies an excellent source of energy, absorbable electrolytes, and gastrointestinal protective components for young animals suffering from diarrhea (scour).
It has easily absorbable electrolytes and intestinal protecting substances that help the young animal's digestive tract function healthy and correctly. Every Diarradral tablet is individually heat-sealed and effervescent, meaning it dissolves when put in water.
How To Administer Diarradral:
Dissolve 1 Diarradral tablet in 1 litre of water at 40 degrees celsius, with the exception for piglets who need 1 tablet with 2 litres of water at 40 degrees celsius.
Calves - if showing any diarrhoea symptoms, give two tablets per day in 2 liters of water orally or through a stomach tube. This needs to be fed separately from milk replacer or whole milk
Lambs and Kid Goats - Dissolve 1 tablet in 1 litre of water at 40 degrees Celsius and leave the solution available for the lambs. This process can be done repetitively up to two pills per lamb every day
Piglets - Dissolve 1 tablet in 2 liters of water at 40 degrees Celsius and leave the solution for the piglets for consumption. Once fully finished, add an additional 2 liters of dissolved solution, up to a maximum of 2 tablets (4 litres) per piglet every day
