Soluble Copper Cobalt is a very palatable, water soluble Copper and Cobalt Supplement, carried on a cider vinegar base, designed to provide essential boost, particularly in suckler calves and dairy herds during the dry cow period and heifers during the winter. Sheep and lambs, due to numerous physiological variations also require copper and cobalt to help avoid swayback nutritional anaemia, poor growth rates and high incidents of infertility.

Copper is present in many body tissues and pigments found in hair and wool as well as being essential for Haemoglobin formulation via Copper dependent enzymes. Animals deficient in Copper become stunted, suffer anaemia, poor growth rates and infertility. A condition in lambs know as "swayback" is associated with Copper metabolism being unable to walk due to incoordination of muscle activity.
