24/7 Smartrace Lamb Boluses 200pk

24/7 Smartrace Lamb Boluses are a mineral supplement for lambs over 25kg with a liveweight of over 40kg. A single bolus supplies a constant supply of selenium, cobalt and iodine over a 120 day period. The 24/7 Smartrace Lamb Bolus' slow release eroding technology ensures each treated animal receives the maximum daily dosage of the trace elements over the 120 day period. The Boluses are proven to increase thrive and growth rates in lambs.

24/7 Smartrace Lamb Boluses have been tested in field trials and the findings have been posted in various peer review scientific journals showing that the boluses give a consistent supply of iodine, selenium and cobalt over an extended period. The results also showed that the boluses optimised lamb growth.

Sheep Bolus

The administration technique is a vital part of ensuring that the bolus does its job effectively.
Make sure that the sheep are properly restrained and cannot leap around when they are being given the bolus so that they are able to swallow correctly.
Sheep can also suffer serious injury, or even death, if they are unrestrained and the gun penetrates the tissues at the back of the mouth.
Place a hand under the head and tilt slightly to the side.
Slot the nozzle in the gap between molar and incisor teeth and then over the back of the tongue.
If the operative just puts the bolus into the mouth, it may be rejected by the sheep.
