Sacrolyte is a supplementary feed for calves suffering from dehydration caused by scour. Sacrolyte contains electrolytes and essential nutrients which are lost by calves during periods of digestive disturbance. A single sachet of Sacrolyte is mixed with 2.5 litres of water and is given to the calf twice a day.

One Sachet should be mixed with 2.5 litres of water. The Solution should be fed to the calf twice a day for the first two days. On the third day the animal should be fed half Sacrolyte solution and half their normal feed and then returned to their normal feeding routine on the fourth day. If the problem persists after that a veterinarian should be contacted immediately.
