A 6mm diameter Polyrope with 6 strands of stainless steel, the rope is constructed from UV protected monofilament plastic.
Suitable for use in temporary electric fence system.
The 6mm diameter Polyrope is highly visible and is suitable for use with horses.

The rope contains 6 stainless steel strands. The strands are usually 0.15mm thick but in this rope the thickness has been increased to 0.2mm thickness which improves the electrical conductivity of the rope.

Resistance figure is 4.2 Ohms per metre

Breaking strength is an incredible 410Kgs

Resistance

The key figure to look out for in polywire, polytape, and polyrope, is the resistance figure which is described in Ohms per metre. This is the amount of resistance the polywire or tape creates against the electric current pulsing through the fence line.
The lower the resistance figure the better as this means the current will flow better throughout the length of the fence line.
The resistance is caused by the non-conductive material in the polywire, polytape or polyrope, so the more metal that is contained in the polyrope, because metal is a conductor, this will reduce the resistance and improve the performance of your fence system.
