Good As Gold Syringe 3 x 35g is a paste delivered in a syringe. This paste is an extremely effective, and very convenient feed supplement, which has been specially designed for nervous, hot, or stressed horses. Good As Gold helps relieve stress by acting on the central and peripheral nervous systems (CNS and PNS). These systems rely on chemical and electrical responses and actions. It may aid in the uptake of Serotonin which has been associated with feelings of happiness, focus and calm.

Hows does Good as Gold work?

Good as Gold has 3 main active ingredients. Magnesium, B vitamins and L-Tryptophan.

Magnesium.
The Magnesium in Good as Gold is in its chelated form to ensure that it is easily absorbed. The nerves in the CNS and the PNS need Magnesium to send and receive messages. During times of stress the cells increase the uptake of calcium into the cell, increased magnesium helps to offset this calcium increase. Calcium inside the cell leads to encouraged nerve excitation, adrenaline secretion and adrenaline response. This response to stress is known to subside when magnesium is allowed to suppress all these factors so that they return to normal.

B vitamins

Feed Good as Gold 35g the morning before a competition.
Where necessary also feed 35g the evening before a competition.
